Release Notes: RAP v5.1.19

v5.1.19 - released January 23, 2025
* The regional station list for the bufr station time series output is updated to include 96 new stations over the United States.
   * There are no model changes associated with this update, but the bufr sounding output now contains additional stations, and the RAP profdat file and sounding post source code need to be updated accordingly.

   * Retrieve the v5.1.19 branch of the RAP GitHub repository using the following command (contains v5.1.19 release notes):

* implementation instructions
   * Retrieve the v5.1.19 branch from GitHub
   * Retrieve the following files/directories from /lfs/h1/ops/prod/packages/rap.v5.1.18:
      * exec/
      * fix/
      * parm/rap_QNWFA_QNIFA_Monthly_GFS
      * parm/rap_run*
      * sorc/rap_wrfpost.fd/gtg*
      * sorc/rap_wrfpost.fd/map_routines.f90
      * sorc/rap_wrfpost.fd/rap_gtg.config
   * Retrieve the following fix file from Cactus or Dogwood (cant store fix files on Github):
      * fix/rap_profdat
   * Recompile the rap_sndp source code using sorc/build_rap_all.sh.

   * Test the RAP wrfbufr and postsnd tasks for a single cycle.  A full cycle test is not needed.
   * These changes should be implemented alongside hrrr.v4.1.18.
