Make synthetic data generation (stage) sub-package available

I would like to use the synthetic sub-package: https://github.com/NVIDIA-NeMo/Curator/tree/main/nemo_curator/stages/synthetic

I'm not sure if I'm missing something but it seems to me that this sub-package is not distributed alongside the other sub-packages in stages (I can see audio, deduplication, image, text and video).

Would be great to have the synthetic sub-package as well.

Hi @ivo-1. Quick question: Which version of NeMo-Curator are you using? The synthetic module was added after the last release (25.09/ 1.0.0) so it'll be available in the next release.

Hi @ayushdg my uv pip list is showing nemo-curator 1.0.0 which I guess is the version from October 1st?

That's correct. The synthetic stages were added later in Nov (like #1245) and won't be available until the next release.
Meanwhile if you'd like to use these modules you'll need to install Curator from source following the source installation instructions here.
