Does compute_langs work with Canary and/or Parakeet?

I'm trying to output detected language(s) with NeMo and Canary/Parakeet:

        self._model = nemo_asr.models.ASRModel.from_pretrained(model_name="nvidia/canary-1b-v2")
        # self._model = nemo_asr.models.ASRModel.from_pretrained(model_name="nvidia/parakeet-tdt-0.6b-v3")
        
        decoding_cfg = OmegaConf.create({})
        with open_dict(decoding_cfg):
            decoding_cfg.compute_langs = True
        self._model.change_decoding_strategy(decoding_cfg)

        self._model.transcribe([filepath], timestamps=True, return_hypotheses=True)

The decoding config seems to be picked up fine:

    ...     
    compute_langs: true

but the output Hypothesis doesn't include any data on languages with both Canary and Parakeet. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you!
