Improve error messages

Right now, any error (header limit exceeded, illegal database instructions, missing database, API server errors, etc...) result in pretty much the same user-facing error message.

On dev, force every kind of error situation you can think of (and more) and make sure the error message is specific and legible

Maybe even an instruction to email the author... like "Report this error"
