Suggestion to integrate with Handheld Companion for a specific feature

With the proliferation of PC handhelds, the ability to seamlessly switch between controllers, such as internal and external Bluetooth options, is becoming increasingly important. Additionally, enabling easy docking of the handheld while maintaining the order of the Xinput would be highly beneficial. Do you think this is achievable with the work you have done?

I was thinking to integrate it with Handheld Companion, I think it would be great! Thanks.

Hi,

OpenXinput's purpose is to match Xinput behavior while having a bit of code to allow more than 4 controllers where Xinput cannot. What you ask seems much more of a job for a virtual gamepad with hidhide while remapping internal and external controller to the same unique virtual controller.
