You have to provide your own card layout. The platforms provide large lists of default keys and sources for you to use in your remote layout without further configuring them past providing the remote and media player entity IDs and the layout. You can see these lists in the layout tab and as shown in the README Layout section. |

The readme page says that remotes are ready immediately on install, but it's not working that way for me. No matter what platform that I select, all I get is a blank card.
I'm slowly learning to use the code editor, but if every remote has to be hand coded, what would be the purpose of the "platform" option?
I love what this integration can do, but I'm wondering if there's something wrong with my installation.
For info: HAOS is installed on bare metal and up to date. I'm installing as an admin and I've tried earlier versions with the same result.
I'm not criticizing the card, just wondering if I'm missing something.
