Unreliable text field in multiple Nheko versions #2010

Describe the bug
If you mouse click multiple times in the text field while writing it randomly wipe the text, sometimes the text field can't be used once the text is wiped.
I tried to report this bug years ago but it's hard to reproduce, it's also the reason why I don't use Nheko anymore because I lost big messages in the past because of this.
To Reproduce
I'm not sure if this reproduction method will work, I tried my best.
- Install Nheko from Flathub in KDE Plasma Wayland (probably any Wayland compositor is affected)
- Write some text in the text field of a room
- Click in different or same parts of the text until it's wiped
What happened?
Big messages were lost while writing, typos require me to click on different parts of it to correct and it probably triggered the bug.
Expected behavior
Don't wipe the text field when the text cursor is changed with mouse clicks.
