How do I set the agent?

Hi!

As a neovim user and now a opencode user I'm very happy to see this plugin.

My question relates to specifying agents from within opencode.nvim. The only functionality i've seen is "cycle agent" which is not very handy.

How (if) can I

1. Configure a default agent to use?
2. Set the agent programatically (not cycling), eg. via an autocommand
3. Define that "ask prompt should use THIS model" and "document prompt should use THAT model"

1. https://opencode.ai/docs/config/ might fulfill this? Depending on what conditions you want to default it in.
2. Unfortunately cycling agent is the only API opencode exposes
3. Check out feature: support mentions to subagents in prompts #64 - you can @ your subagents in prompts and opencode should use them 🙂 I've updated the README to make that clearer!

Thanks for getting back to me. Then I will open a feature request for opencode to expose a setAgent function. It feels like a no-brainer to me.

Sidenote: In general I guess this plugin always has to ask "what configuration is neovim-specific and what can already be achieved in opencode". I think it is right to try to keep the plugin as lightweight as possible and most of all act as a bridge, leveraging opencode as much as possible. With an improved API from opencode it'd be easy to write autocommands to adapt the behaviour after the circumstances.

Thank you for creating this plugin and I hope it will last more than a month :) (the churn when it comes to ai-tooling is crazy)

Yeah that churn is why I try to leverage opencode as much as I can - I was tired of always learning Yet Another Tool 😅

Let me know if they do add it!
