Keyboard/mouse via converter fails to wake Windows after long sleep; PS/2 mouse alone works

I’ve noticed an issue with the converter when used with Windows:
After the system enters sleep mode for several hours, it cannot be woken up using the keyboard or mouse connected through the converter.
However, if I connect a native PS/2 mouse directly (bypassing the converter), wake-up works reliably.
This suggests that the converter may not be maintaining proper wake signaling during extended sleep, or Windows is losing the HID device’s wake capability over time.
