Some questions about the script

Thanks for the hard work on this.
I have mostly got things working.
But I could not understand the need for the modified metrics,
And the register entries for meter_tota_energy and other “meter” or “battery” registers
I don’t have any battery system connected to my inverter ?
Does meter refer to my home electricty meter ?

so I hashed out the modfied metrics in the main.py script
Because I don’t think my solis 4G inverter will have the relevant register inputs.

when the script is running the only data i see published to mqtt in mqtt-explorer is the date and time information.
I am wondering why I don’t see solar energy data, daily, monthly, yearly etc ?

It’s ok, i figured it out and got my data

next issue is the connection to solis wifi stick seems to disconnect after 3 minutes.
Even if I add 10x retry scraping.
Guess I will have to run script every 3 mins from cron job

@telemarker73 Use the container - much easier to work with and reliable
