Hi everyone 👋,
I’m excited to share a project I’ve been building: GitHub NotesQR – a privacy-first, encrypted note-taking app designed to help you manage sensitive information without giving up your personal data.

📌 Why NotesQR?
I got tired of people storing important notes in unprotected plain text files, or using apps that claim to be private while collecting tons of metadata. So I built a tool that:
Requires no sign-up, no email, no phone number
Uses AES-256 end-to-end encryption
Implements zero-knowledge architecture (we can’t see your data)
Secures access using TOTP-based 2FA, not passwords
Lets you organize notes with folders, tags, stars
No tracking, no cookies only Google Analytics to track basic interactions to improve user experience.
Is 100% anonymous – even the container URLs are private
Is open source

🛡️ Built for journalists, healthcare professionals, crypto lovers, developers, or anyone who wants peace of mind knowing their private notes stay private.
🔗 You can try it now: NotesQR
💬 Would love feedback from privacy-focused folks here!
What do you think of the authentication model?
Would you find this useful for yourself or your team?
Any features you think are missing?
Thanks for reading! 🙌
