Simple Interaction.Raycast is throwing error

Trying to call the Interaction.Raycast function in the Update loop and I get the following error:

InvalidOperationException: System.ArgumentException: Key: {0} is not present in the NativeHashMap.
This Exception was thrown from a function compiled with Burst, which has limited exception support.

Our initial attempts to reproduce this issue were unsuccessful, so I have a few follow up questions just to get some more context around when you're seeing this:

1. Are you hitting this exception every frame? Or is it only once after entering play mode and/or a domain reload while playing?
2. Are any UIBlocks in the scene when you hit this?
3. Which version of Nova are you on?

Thank you for the pointers.

• I only get the error once even though the code gets called every frame (in monobehavior update loop)
• I noticed the error gets caused by Interaction.Point as well as Interaction.Raycast
• I can avoid the error by delaying the execution start by something like 100 frames.

There is a lot of scene loading and transitioning going on in the first seconds so there are moments where there are no UIBlocks present. For me, I consider this problem solved as I will make sure the execution of the raycast will only start after the scene init routines which will avoid the error.

Ah. The additional info is quite helpful. Thank you. This still sounds like something we need to investigate further and fix, but I think we have enough to go on. Either way, it's great to hear you're unblocked!
