In the meantime, because the result of InternalMethod_14(InternalParameter_2053) is discarded, you should be able to just remove the ref keyword in that line to resolve the error locally.

A few questions because we aren't seeing this compiler error ourselves:

1. Are you seeing the error in Unity or in your IDE? Or both?
2. Which IDE (and which version) are you using?
3. Which version of Unity are you using?
4. Do you happen to know if you have some IDE setting for more verbose/aggressive messages/warnings/errors?
