What you're describing here is the intended behavior of these configurations, as they provide users with options to quickly snap to certain useful sizes without having to be locked into the designated auto-size mode. The recommended way to revert a UIBlock back to its previous size before an auto-size option is selected is via "undo" (e.g. ctrl+z). That said, if there's additional workflow-related functionality you'd like to see Nova support at some point in the future, you're of course always welcome to create a new feature request! |

UIBlock Size settings should probably be stored as "RequestSize" or something. When I tap on "Size => Shrink/Expand" icons, the control then shrinks or expands, but THEN forgets the prior setting.
For example in the screenshot below, this button started out as 500 pixels wide... I hit "Expand" and it changes to 100%, and if I Unexpand, it now STAYS at 100%. Same bug exists for Shrink.
