2.0.1 import caused compiling errors

Hi all,
I upgraded to the latest package by downloading and importing the latest Nova UI package (2.0.1) from the package manager that was released on the 4th of August 2023.
The issue is that it caused a lot of compiling errors as some variables already exist in the same context.
Please find image attached.

Is it an issue with the package? Or am I able to fix this myself?

This looks more like Unity didn't merge the new version into your project cleanly, which is leading to either duplicated files or combining the old version and new version of a given file into one.

Have you tried removing Nova from your project entirely and reimporting?

The same problem, I tried to delete and re-import, nothing happens

These errors indicate some pretty core pieces of Nova are missing from your project - so either they must have been deleted or didn't import correctly.

Can you try (3), but, before you reopen Unity, delete Nova from the Asset Store cache (instructions) and when you go to import Nova through the package manager you'll likely need to download it again first.

Why does this window pop up?

Nova has dependencies on certain Unity packages, namely Burst, Collections, Mathematics, and TextMeshPro. Selecting "Install/Upgrade" on that popup will import the correct dependencies into your project - without them you'll get a bunch of errors and Nova won't work.

Oh, great, it works, I'm sorry for such stupid questions. I am currently editing my button and decided to add hover and pressed colors, but when I launch the game, the color does not change when hovering and clicking

Do you have an Input Manager (full path: Nova\Sample\UIControls\Scripts\Input\InputManager.cs) in your scene?
