Multi line text highlighting - When a newline character is selected, the line before it is treated as a newline

I'm only using a TextField and a TextFieldSelector component, as I don't need any text input.

A more minor problem I encountered is that there are horizontal gaps between the selections as seen in the image provided.

I have found the cause of this issue. Which is an interesting one.
This issue only occurs when the text is copy-pasted from outside of Unity. And is fixed the moment you delete and re-create the newline in Unity.
