CanvasGroup.interactable equivalent?

Is there a CanvasGroup.interactable equivalent?

Trying to figure out how to disable UIBlock hierarchies from interaction (e.g. controls in a settings window that has entered the background)

Closing as a duplicate of this feature request.

In the meantime you have a couple of options:

1. Disable the Interactable/Scroller components under the root, as OneWheelStudio described in that thread
2. Create an invisible "overlay" configured to block input - adjust sorting order for the "overlay" to always be sorted on top (even though it's invisible), which can be done using a SortGroup, hierarchical sorting, z-index, etc.

I was hoping that wasn't the answer and that I was missing something (as I usually do). If Nova is supposed to be a Canvas replacement, this is a key item as y'all know.
