I would use the crap out of this. Specifically, we can add neon effects and "false light" with it by messing with HDR settings within unity. getting this and being able to animate texture or anything based on the shader would make our UI a thousand times more beautiful for sure. |

Love it. Any support for the Block rounded stroke would be clutch. For example, a utility function that populates a VertexListHelper or whatever with a triangle fan that is the stroke of the UIBlock (taking into account all the things). That alone would open up huge possibilities. |

I think this is a must as well, I don't think I've ever worked on a project where we didn't use custom shaders to run effects on UI. |

Any update on this? It’s been in progress for a while now. I am personally waiting for this as it prevent quite a bit from being done. The only work around is to have sprite as child but then, they won’t scale with resolution like the rest of the UI, making it pretty much useless. |

Adding in my support for this. I love Nova UI, it's the best framework I have used for UI (and I've used a lot). I was very suppressed when I went to start adding in a dissolve effect for the UI and didn't see anyway to get to the materials and shaders. |

@dkonik This has been open for a very long time now. Could we at least get an update on it? I have opened the initial issue on this way before this one (on which you based this one) way over a year ago. |

I would also like to know more about this, as this is the most important missing feature for me. Even just some feedback, to know that we have to wait a bit more, and possibly even a rough ETA (if it's not too early to have one) would be very appreciated. |

This would be of great help to us too! I am currently looking for a solution to integrate a sprite with a NEON custom shader, but the problem is that the size does not automatically adjust to his UIBlock parent. |

Stop hoping, both the authors stopped responding to anything regarding Nova (mail, discord or github) since December. So you still might have hope like some people that say "They're hard at work doing custom shaders" but hope is the only thing you'll have. |
