quick_tune API question

There is a note on bladerf_get_quick_tune
that

These parameters are sensitive to changes in the operating environment, and should be "refreshed" if planning to use the "quick retune" functionality over a long period of time.

Can you explain how and when to "refresh" it?
Because simple repeated call to bladerf_get_quick_tune once in some interval will overflow in

bladeRF/host/libraries/libbladeRF/src/board/bladerf2/bladerf2.c

I think there is currently no easy way to clear the RX or TX profiles, without doing a bladerf_close then bladerf_close then bladerf_open.

As for how often to refresh it, you may need to try and see if/when the tuning starts being off.
