Question about upgrading / release notes.

Hello there,

In a project I'm working on, we're using "O365==2.0.37".

Is it safe to upgrade to latest "O365==2.1.7" ?

I haven't been able to find detailes release notes,... (maybe I'm just blind 😉 ).

Biggest change is the fact that auth is now done with the msal library. This means tokens are no longer valid between 2.0.x and 2.1.x. You will need to re authenticate.

Also some other breaking changes

Ok thanks I was looking in Pypi and releases page but not this particular file.

For the biggest change you mentioned, since the project is authenticating via auth_flow_type="credentials", and it is done when opening connection to a mailbox in a scheduled task, I guess it'll authenticate itself when needed.

Yes, but using a 2.0.x token with a 2.1.x will error

Delete the token first
