We're considering to add this new feature for portal ticket management: enabling an option that prevents adding (lock) comments for already closed tickets.
These are the possible options:
- A per-stage option, that could be set for closed states (like Done and Cancel), disabled (comments addition is still available) by default.
- A general setting, forced to tickets at close states, also disabled by default.
Which could be the best approach?
And another question... such feature, is it better adding it as a IMP at helpdesk_mgmt addon, or built it as an extra module?
