Hello,

I just read about the nvidia-jetson-servies : https://docs.nvidia.com/jetson/jps/moj-overview.html
And there i see that there is a mentioning of so called foundation services ( networking, redis, monitoring etc).

Are these supported with this layer? I don't seem to have those. Do i need to install them manually, and if so is there any plan for the future to integrate them?

And if i need to manually install them, can you point me in the right direction how i would do that?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

I think the specific applications referenced there are available in containers on NGC or through separate applications which may or may not be supported yet in https://github.com/OE4T/meta-tegra-community

The general approach I'd take is:

1. Run in containers on an image in a developer kit, as delivered by nvidia, to test basic functionality.
2. Use existing container support in meta-tegra to test on meta-tegra, adding updates/fixes where necessary, nail down dependencies for your application.
3. (optional) Add or update recipes as needed if you desire to run outside containers for your final application.
