Such settings are stored in the so called NVS (non volatile storage) on the flash. If your AC is not able to being queried for its current state, then this could be a good solution. |

First of all, this is an absolutley awesome project!
I have my Omote working pretty well.
I only have TV, SmartHome switches and a GoodWeather AC but they all work perfectly.
One thing has eluded me though:
I'd like to have things - variables, states etc that survive sleep mode.
For example, my AC controller simply defaults to the initial startup state (OFF) when coming out of sleep - even if I have just used it to turn ON the AC.
How do I go about making the ON state non-volatile, for example.
Then it got me thinking: when coming out of sleep the Omote "knows" what scene is active.
How does it do this? I can't follow in main.cpp where (and how) this is non-volatile.
Any pointers? (pun intended!)
