RPTRST DENO DENG DENW does not output OIL_DEN, etc. in a particular run

Hi, we are experiencing probably a bug in OPM Flow (2024.10 from Docker). We are building runs of the same simulation, but running only a subset of timesteps.
In the attached example runs using NORNE, all runs start on 6 NOV 1997.

• RUN7.DATA runs up to 1 JUL 2004 and
• RUN8.DATA up to 1 DEC 2004.
  We need to generate some dynamic properties using the RPTRST keyword:

RPTRST
  BASIC=2
  FREQ=1
  FLOWS DENO DENG DENW RS
/

and we do it for a subset of time steps:

• in RUN7.DATA from 10 JUL 2003 to 1 JUL 2004
• in RUN8.DATA from 20 JAN 2004 to 1 DEC 2004
  Running OPM Flow creates successfully the two runs.
• RUN7.DATA contains the needed dynamic properties from 10 JUL 2003 on (see FLOOILI+, FLOGASI+, FLOWATI+, etc and OIL_DEN, GAS_DEN, WAT_DEN)
• but RUN8.DATA does contain the flow keywords, but not the densities.

We do not understand why OPM Flow is not generating them. This might be a bug in OPM Flow.

Hey, one way to get the densities for RUN8 is to remove from the RUN8.SCH:

In the OPM manual it is mentioned that while this format for RPTSCHED it is recognized by OPM Flow, it is not supported, i.e., ignored; however, it seems this is not the case. I will check the implementation of this keyword and try to find out what is going on.

The support for integers has been implemented a couple of weeks ago in OPM/opm-common#4526, then the OPM manual should document this for the coming release (2025.04).

The simulator is known to behave inconsistently here. I'm in the process of cleaning it up, but I won't be able to make it work until the October release (2025.10) at the earliest. The main problem is that the simulator mostly treats RPTSCHED as an alias for RPTRST, especially if the "RESTART" switch (mnemonic or integer control 7) is set.
