Once the wheelchair is put back together:

Add the hokuyo_multi.launch file to the main package (addition to wheelchair_description?). Make sure to separate between simulation and non-simulation (simulation doesn't need this node).

Fix udev device names. http://wiki.ros.org/hokuyo_node#Using_udev_to_Give_Hokuyos_Consistent_Device_Names
