Having all images in grayscale by default and showing them in color on hover can give the site a sleek, modern feel. It helps keep the focus on the content while adding a subtle interactive touch. It’s a cool way to make the design feel clean and intentional but it’s worth keeping accessibility and consistency in mind so the experience works well for everyone. |

I think we can apply the grayscale effect only on desktop devices, where the hover effect is visible. This adds a sleek and minimalistic touch to the design. On mobile devices, grayscale might not look as appealing. In terms of styling and the color scheme we're following for the Nest website, we can fine-tune the grayscale to blend well with the overall look and feel. Applying it everywhere might make the website look dull, so we should restrict it to specific sections where it's needed—like the profile or tools section. |

What do you think about an idea to have the grayscale style for images by default (show it in colors on hover only). This would affect all images, avatars, map, etc.
