NAA - Explanation why only supported with (1) personal scope'd apps & (2) if/not supported on iOS? #14125
-
This page & in the announcement blog post states/ implies that NAA is only supported for tabs in the personal scope... not the channel/group chat scope. Q1 - What's the issue with channel/group chat scopes? It's unclear based on the wording if I'm reading too much into this, & they are supported... one explicitly says "Personal Tab Teams apps" & another says "Teams tabs, personal apps"... Also, if NAA is only supported in personal apps [tabs], why isn't it supported with configurable tabs? Q2 - Is iOS (and iPadOS & macOS) supported?Also... the blog post announcement said:
But the doc has a confusing statement about Apple devices when it comes to support:
Can you clarify the contradiction between the announcement & docs and/or what you mean by "iOS Mac device"? Do you mean Apple devices? There's no such thing as a "iOS Mac device". Do you mean "iOS"? The "Mac device" is confusing.
In my experience, it's working fine on macOS. There's no mention of iPadOS, which is more like iOS. If NAA isn't supported on iOS or other Apple devices, why is that? 3P cookie issues? if so... other browsers are following suit so... why limited to iOS? |

Hey @andrewconnell, Yes, it should work across all scopes - essentially any Teams apps.
And yes all platforms are supported, I just put in a request to update that documentation, thanks
