Cant even get started 'Copilot Access Disabled'

So after a year of having dropped teams toolkit for unstable i decide to try it again, with the very same project i had before. of course i knew some adjustments would have to be made due to the tooking having been updated.

after logging on and creating whatever az resoruces i need and all the fuss, then I run into a "copilot access disabled" and an invitation to use a developer sandbox.

i do not want a sandbox i want the thing deployed in the environment i have, with the resources and apps I have created and authorized already; with access to the AZOAI and AZ search resources I have on my and my authorized tenants. so no sandbox for me.

There is an (i) button that directs one to this URL, which shows the huge (with huge letters) message below. So, I follow those instructions and request early access as instructed.

Takes me 30 answers on 5 or 6 pages lost count just to get to the end of the questionnaire, including all kind of AZ IDs, tenant, app, URL (I mean, current version is actually published on appsource* don't even remember how many questions. Even my Microsoft Parter ID - I think my aunt's too.

This is ludicrous. Definitely dropping teams toolkit. There are many, both open source and closed source frameworks available that can accomplish what one wants without having to deal with all this. No wonder no one wants to do real development on this platform as discussions elsewhere suggest.
