How to access on-prem mailbox content from Outlook mobile

Dear office.js team and office.js users,

I am looking for a way to query the context of an on-prem mailbox from Outlook Add-Ins for Android and Outlook for iOS. For example, enumerate all mails in the drafts folder.

Did I miss something, or is there really no supported way to achieve this?

Alternate code path I tested were not successful, too:

• makeEwsRequestAsync() ist not available on mobile platforms.
• Mimicing makeEwsRequestAsync() with fetch() brings CORS errors.
• Accessing the on-prem REST API is not supported, and brings CORS errors.
