While opening the msg files Addin icons are not displaying

When we try to open the msg file from the file explorer once the msg file opened add-in icons are not displaying.

Your Environment

• Platform: PC desktop, Mac, iOS, Office on the web
• Host: Outlook

Expected behavior

Need to show the add-in icons when we open the msg file from the file explorer.

Current behavior

Not showing the add-in icons when we open the msg file from the file explorer.

Steps to reproduce

Go to file explorer open a msg file.
it will redirect to outlook in the ribbon add-in icons are not showing

@ReddyBhargavi18, I have a few questions to better understand the scenario and how to reproduce it:

• Are all ribbon buttons missing, or only add-in icons?
• Does the issue happen only for .msg files opened from File Explorer, or also for regular emails in Outlook?
• Is this Outlook instance managed by your organization with any add-in or ribbon policies applied?
• Is this a new behavior or did it work before?
• What Outlook build version are you on?
• Which Outlook client (Classic desktop or New Outlook)?

#1 only Add-in icons missing.
#2 This is happening only with .msg file.
#3 all the add-ins in the ribbon are missing.
#4 It is working for some msg files but only for few msg files getting like this.
#5 Outlook version 2510 (Build 19328.20244)
#6 Classic desktop.

To better help you with this issue, can you please provide us with some additional details/examples of .msg files that work vs do not work when opening them from file explorer? Does having Outlook already open or not impact the presence of the add-ins in the ribbon?
