How can we turn Miyoo + OnionOS into a usable music player

• GMU currently has all the features I'd need. Can random cycle through chosen directories. Unlike any dedicated music player on the market, it can do .opus files. THAT IS A UNIQUE SELLING POINT.

• However GMU on OnionOS is not currently usable.

I need to:

** Stick in headphones, turn on some tunes, and then be able to put the thing in my pocket ***

I can't do this now.

Why?

Because any button press on the Miyoo will perform an action while it's in my pocket. That interrupts my listening to music. It forces me to not do anything else while listening to music. This might be a nice zen practice but not what i bought it for.

What needs to happen?

Could be addressed a few ways, which is why I'm throwing this up here for discussion. While playing music, the user needs to be able to toggle modes - buttons active / buttons inactive.

What are your thoughts?

Ok GMU is so brilliant. I have to salute that dev.

Just two edits to /App/Gmu/miyoo.keymap

Mod+R1: Lock keys and blank screen
Mod+L1: Unlock and unblank

The current beta also includes a fix in regard to this: when you press the power button the screen will turn off and keys will be disabled, but the music will keep playing.

Power button works! You are the best!
Now this can be a portable 'mp3' player! But unlike the others, we can play all KINDS of formats, including the fantastic low-bitrate opus, for podcasts!
No music player on market can do opus, unfortunately our headphone amp on Miyoo is not hi-fi.
