Missing product check with STAC?

With the OpenSearch catalogs we had the ability to check for "missing product" but I'm not sure we can still do that with pure STAC API queries.

Problem is that with the OpenSearch catalogs being shut down (CDSE already happened and Terrascope will happen soon), various unit and integration tests start to fail due to this.

So I'm going to disable some tests and code paths as initial fix, using this ticket for future reference and follow up

With CDSE, this has become less relevant.
We now simply want to route all Sentinel-2 requests to CDSE, which is what is already configured on openeofed.
So maybe this issue can be closed?

I don't think we can just close this ticket

There is quite some code that now is practically dead and could be cleaned up.

But maybe more importantly:
the "SENTINEL2_L2A" collection on Terrascope doesn't work like before.
It's a virtual collection that switches between TERRASCOPE_S2_TOC_V2 and SENTINEL2_L2A_SENTINELHUB under the hood based on "missing product" info. But that "missing product" lookup returns empty now, which means that the code naively always picks TERRASCOPE_S2_TOC_V2. So spatial extents outside of coverage TERRASCOPE_S2_TOC_V2 will fail.

e.g. this used to work, but doesn't anymore:

(using "SENTINEL2_L2A_SENTINELHUB" instead works just fine)

So we have to decide what to do with "SENTINEL2_L2A" on terrascope:

• do nothing or make it more explicitly an alias for "TERRASCOPE_S2_TOC_V2" and say to users to use "SENTINEL2_L2A_SENTINELHUB" when they get NoDataAvailable
• make it an alias for "SENTINEL2_L2A_SENTINELHUB" so it always work, but costs more
• implement new logic (based on ?) to switch intelligently
