Expand file format support

  • CovJSON (CDSE error: "Format 'COVJSON' is not supported")
  • GTIFF
  • JSON (spatiotemporal mapping unclear)
  • netCDF
  • ZARR (Zipped files with media type application/octet-stream can't be visualized)
  • GIF/JPEG/PNG (spatial information must be read from STAC, but we can't pass it via mimeUris afaik)
• Vector
  • CSV ("delimitedtext" provider supports it, but not from HTTP(s) sources)
  • GeoJSON
  • JSON (not supported by QGIS)
  • netCDF vector (CDSE error: "Could not obtain driver: NetCDF (check that it was installed correctly into GDAL)")
  • GeoParquet

The .parquet files that are resulting from our batch jobs are not being recognized as valid data-sources by qgis

.zarr data is provided in a zip-compressed archive by the openEO provider that is not recognized by qgis as a valid source.

upon decompression the entire directory can be added to the project but the metadata regarding projection and extent is not being respected, similarly to the issues encountered with netcdf sources in #171
