Is Open Shell still developed or is it abandoned by Developers ?

Hi

such a great app i absolutely love it and has user for years. But now and for a long time now its broke maybe due to windows updates.

Can someone tell me if Open Shell is abandoned by the developers now or it is still developed ?.

If it is not supported anymore i might as well start looking for an alternative instead of living with some form of work around for now.

Its such a great app i surely hope its still receiving attention and is developed, but its a very long time since last update, eventhough there has been a lot of problems since Windows updates in the past year

Not maybe, it was broken by Windows update.
And so far nobody has any clue how to fix it.

It was stated many times already that the project is not actively developed. It is rather maintained in our free time when possible.
For me personally it is rather hard to find enough motivation for something that I'm not using anymore (and constant changes in Windows that make it harder and harder to keep up).

Though the advantage of open-source projects such as this is that anybody with some programming skills can propose fixes, or even start his own fork as he needs. That's unlike closed-source projects where everyone is at mercy of developers.

I hope this will make things clear once for all.
