RTC not ready when not coming up from boot

When unplugging and replugging the v5d, not from a direct boolloader or pressing the reboot button, the RTC fails to start in current main

Can you confirm if this happens only when a battery is not installed? I have previously noticed consistent RTC integration test failures on the C when removing the battery.

Oh that does sound like it would make sense for what the underlying problem is! We'll get on the case

I had noticed it happening when a battery was in the first time! Though that battery had been in a long time and I couldn't figure out how to check the voltage so its possible it was not a fully working battery

@ineskhou do note, that on boards prior to the incoming V5d Pro, you actually need to make a minor soldering modification to the RTC battery holder to get it to work as intended. I think there's only one board in our lab with that modification, so it's possible you say it not functioning on a board with a battery but without the modification
