DEC Offset homing wrong direction

Here's what I do:

1. Power on the tracker with DEC pitched down
2. Manually rotate DEC to home position (up) - DEC steps in OATControl increase to a positive value
3. Set DEC home offset in settings
4. Power the tracker off and on.
5. Run DEC offset homing in OATControl
6. DEC moves down instead of up

I live in the northen hemisphere, the DEC axis is inverted in OAT Firmware config. I'm connecting to OAT using ASCOM driver, not directly via the COM port

OATControl V1.1.7.0
OpenAstroTracker-Firmware V1.13.11 (commit 693cbaa)
Everything else is probably the latest version, installed in the last 2 days

I have also verified that when slewing the mount down, the DEC steps value changes to a negative value.

After saving that as the offset, resetting the mount and performing the DEC homing, the DEC tilts up, so its reversed in both cases
