powerAssistant was removed

Description

I noticed that in commit #3339 the functional functions for powerAssistant were removed. However, in the GUI I still see a link / menu entry for powerAssistant.
Could you clarify the following:
Was the powerAssistant functionality intentionally deprecated/removed?
