Parks Bucket List #22
Description
Develop an engaging experience where people can search, create, share their own curated lists that highlight their favorite parks into “bucket lists”
- Users can search for parks based on location (e.g. 50 mile radius proximity), and activities that interest them (e.g. hiking, camping), as well as optional additional criteria (e.g. special needs, pet friendly). Data for each park / facility will leverage the RIDB API and pull in location, features, etc.
- Users can create “bucket lists” that feature specific places that interest them (e.g. Top 10 places to hike in VA, Top 5 trails in Shenandoah).
- Users can “like” and “check off” activities / places from the list. They can also like other people's lists, leading to potential gamification through badging, etc.
- Data can be used to find parks that generate interest but not traffic
