Save data to a file continuously

CSV export only exports the last few milliseconds, but I want to save more data to analyse it later

this looks amazing ! so big thanks , wondering: If I would like to capture a signal sample with a timebase of say 5ns, and autotrigger on an rise of that singal, a) where in the API is this defined, or b) is this intended to run in parallel with OpenHantek ? In that case would set those setting with the UI and need to keep the UI running while the API also runs.

would appreciate it if you could clarify that, so both things need to run at the same time and the API just captures what the UI also sees ?

Short answer: this is not possible.

Longer explanation:

• timebase 5 ns -> sample rate 200 MHz - not possible.
• UI sampling is free running of a limited sample block of 20000 samples at high sample rate up to 24 MS/s, trigger is done fully in SW and after processing the next block sampling is started.
• The API tool samples continously with limited sample rate of max. 100 kS/s.
• API and UI cannot access the USB in parallel.
