DfPlayer Mod

Hi guys
i am about to do the dfplayer mod, but i have one question left...
From where do you take the Voltage Plus?
my player works from 3.3 - 5V(ideal 4.2v, they wrote in the Datasheet), but i have no idea about its current consumption....
is it save to Power it over one of the internal 3.3 Regulators?
or is there somewhere a 5V pad?

Any help would be highly appricated;)

Hi,
It's up to you, but don't use 3V3 pads due to the relatively high power requirements of the DFPlayer. I have it mounted on a radio switch where it is powered directly from the battery bay.

thanks for your fast answer.
since the battery bay has up to 6vdc and the dfPlayer only supports 5vdc, i have to use a stepdown;)
but seems to be the best solution.
