Automatic detection button GPIO pins

Can this is possible? Upon initial startup, enter a one-minute input detection state, prompting the user to press a specific button. The user's input would be recorded in a configuration file. If the user doesn't input anything within the specified time, it would be considered that no physical button was pressed.

Good idea, but I don't know how safe is it to enumerate all the pins on the board which might be used for other devices.
Let's say you have some sensor connected to one of GPIOs which flips the gpio low/high - then during auto-detect how do you tell what is the button and what is the sensor?

Also I think it should be not timeout-based but rather user should change the pixelpilot.yaml to smth like: gpio: detect so pixelpilot starts the wizard if it sees this config and it overwrites it with real value when wizard is done
