Clarification on HCL - Supported Laptop Devices (comparatively new)

Me and few friends started an effort to Support OpenIndiana (and other illumos based distros).

One of the most commonly asked questions from folks is: which laptop devices (relatively new) run OpenIndiana well? (it could be for daily-driving or to try out of curiosity)? Need some help on this so I can give a comprehensive answer to people in future.

Pardon my ignorance: while an official list on https://docs.openindiana.org/community-hcl/systems exists, I cannot easily find which devices are added recently on this list. If I could I would know these are the new laptops that work and recommend those to people.

In addition, if I may ask it would be nice to include the device release year in columns and to sort in decreasing order of the year (at least for the laptops section).
