Shopping cart rules cleanup - shell script?

Would be nice if a cleanup tool for Shopping cart rules existed (coupon codes) - for n98-magerun or just as a shell script.
Does it exist

I've been using different shell scripts, but most of them does not handle rules with auto-generated codes very well.

Use case:
We use shopping cart rules for giftcards and compensation etc., often with auto-generated codes.

Cleanup for rules that are either expired , or all codes are used.
Cleanup xx days after rules are expired/used could also be a thing.
