Is there Interest for a regular contributor Meeting?

I saw @fballiano mentioning a regular meeting might be usefull.

while the exact wording did more focus on maintainers

having a maintainers meeting every few weeks, to have them all check some PRs during the meeting, but I think nobody will be able to attend those meetings because of timezones and other commitments.

I wonder, if there is interest from contributor side to have such a meeting, and if its just about having a regular event, or if you have some expectations of who is available during them and what kind of results they might have.

With our Discord we have at least easy access to do this, and it recently even has an event support, which would highlight the next one happening, to make it more visible there.
