Hello,
Question about Modernizr 2.6.2 in the folder ‘skin/frontend/rwd/default/js/lib/modernizr.custom.min.js’.

Would there be any reason not to update it?
Is it worth it?
Has anyone tried it yet?

It's definitely worth it, but considering that Magento/OpenMage is using a very old version (2.6.2 was released in 2012), advanced testing is needed. In this case, the Console can be a reliable friend.
