Indication of individual frames #5995
Description
When the user uses the timeline for extreme zoom in (in order to target an exact frame for a slice), it would be helpful to mark the edge of each frame—such as by a short tick-mark rising up from the baseline of the clip.
When the user selects extreme zoom, it would also be helpful to indicate the average audio volume in that frame, perhaps with color bars at the baseline of the clip. This would let the user avoid a cut that joins a noisy frame to a silent frame.
"Extreme zoom" means zooming until a single frame takes 5? or more horizontal pixels in the clip.
(Context: With 3.5.0 daily #15735, I've been zooming in to see exactly where Slice slices, as I'm still making editing mistakes: trying to cut a scene from a video but retaining 1 frame.)
