Add Pipe (|) support to wildcard filter functions

I useful expansion is to be able to do things like: wildcard(ny-*|co-*) to get all the ny-* hosts and the co-* hosts. Before filter support, bosun was doing its own expansion so we have a fair amount of queries like this. I'd like to be able to totally rely on OpenTSDB's filters and ditch the expansion on bosun's side.

Would it be possible to expand the filter to do this?

We currently have a lot of places this would be very useful. Like process lists where name=wildcard(puppet|redis-*|haproxy-t*|keepalived|memcached) would match the literal values or wildcard expansions. Right now I don't think there is any way to combine literals and multiple wildcards without just creating a big regex match.

IT's a good point and wouldn't be too bad to implement before cutting 2.2. I'll poke at it and see how long it will take.

I can give it a try, I know @manolama is busy on some other tasks. I tagged it 2.3 for now and will look at it when I can.
