Describe the bug
So i spoke and then the transcript is analyzed and output is also generated from transcript available in openwhisper transcripts screen,
but says
■ Failed to paste image: no image on clipboard: The clipboard contents were not available in the requested format or the clipboard is empty.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. open codex li
2. press hotkey
3. speak
4. release hotkey
5. Error is shown instead of transcript

Expected behavior
Transcript should be pasted in the codex input

CLI program in general doesn't work for auto-paste. There's another issue asking to allow converted text to be copied to clipboard so that users can manually paste them.

On Windows pwsh or WSL, codex or Claude Code neither works.
I think add the option to copy to system's clipboard is the easiest fix.

The error is that the usocket native module fails to compile on Windows — it includes sys/ioctl.h, a Unix-only header. Let me find what
  pulls in this dependency.

● Searched for 1 pattern (ctrl+o to expand)

● The usocket package comes from dbus-next, which is the D-Bus library used for GNOME Wayland global hotkeys. According to the CLAUDE.md,
  this is only active on Linux + Wayland + GNOME, so it's not needed on Windows.

  Let me check how dbus-next is used and whether we can make it an optional dependency

Okay, I spent some time to fix the issue, but then when running from locally after build it, there is still problem like cloud account cannot be signed in, etc.
IMHO, I think at this stage, this software is not ready to for forcing a cloud sign-in as it add additional cumbersome for developers to test and provide feedback. There're still quite some issues related to UI, settings, etc.

If you provide new Release, I'm happy to test it. But testing from source requires more effort than I expected.

Tested on both main branch and the PR branch. I think this is more of a framework setup thing -- I guess you're compiling the electron on macOS? some of the dependencies are UNIX-only.

@faishal882 @xarthurx please test v1.4.9 - this should now be resolved via a custom linux binary that works similar to ydotool. Will reopen this issue if it still persists.
