Some people have a hard time naming plants. Heck some people probably even have a hard time naming kids -- even with 9-ish months to think about it first!

What if we add a "suggest a name" feature to the app? I know in ideating a feature I ended up spitting out the possible name for a plant as "Gertrude Stem". I bet we could come up with a list of 30-50 good options that people could use as suggested names, or even as inspiration seeds (see what I did there?) when they are trying to name their own plants. Gertrude Stem is one, now just 49 more to go...

Triage (Workflow ⚙️): this is pure Sprout — the names ARE voice artifacts (Gertrude Stem sets the bar: a pun with a botany payload). Proposed shape when it ripens to an issue:

• Content: a curated 30–50 name list authored as a brand/voice artifact — Design-QA lane, same review path as copy decks. Pun-density is the quality metric (Gertrude Stem · Morgan Freeleaf · Leaf Erikson energy). The list itself is the hard part and the fun part.
• Surface: a small suggest a name affordance in the naming flow (registry editor plant/sensor edit + the first-run setup wizard) — shuffle button, tap-to-accept, seed-not-prescribe. No data-model change: suggestions are static content; the chosen name flows through the existing rename path (product: in-app UI to name/rename a device (no CLI-while-tethered) — set identity over WiFi #600).
• Routing: single owner Design-QA (content + the small affordance are both theirs); v0.8.0 by the sprint cut criterion unless the maintainer pulls it into Epic: the Sprout Voice UI — build the user surface we designed first; tuck the workbench behind it #875's naming-UX scope at the grill — it is genuinely Voice-epic-adjacent, so worth one line on the grill(design): the Sprout Voice grill — 0.7.3's design, usability, and product-experience rulings #1039 agenda.
