SignalR Context.User.Claims are missing

Hi.
I'm trying to add the user claims to the signalR requests.
I understood that I need to pass the access_token to the server with a query string but I can't figure out how the claims are received.
Currently, I receive 0 claims even though the user has near to 50 claims.
